MementoLabs is an Italian information technology company, formerly known as Hacking Team[1][2].
Founded in 2019, MementoLabs is the spyware and malware-related branch of the InTheCyber Group - an offensive cybersecurity company located in Lugano, Switzerland.[3]

Under the new ownership, MementoLabs also specialized themselves in IMSI Catchers.[4]

At the end of 2025, Kaspersky identified a new spyware for Windows called Dante targeting Russia and Belarus, exploiting a Chrome zero-day (CVE-2025-2783) in an operation dubbed “ForumTroll”.[6][7][8][13][14][15]
Memento’s CEO declared to TechCrunch “I thought [the government customer] didn’t even use it anymore”, hinting that there is no real vetting on the use of the product.[9]

A Swiss investigation by NZZ revealed connections between MementoLabs’s parent company InTheCyber Group and sales of spy software to Arab intelligence services.[10]
MementoLabs has been cited in reports by the Carnegie Endowment[11] and the Atlantic Council[12] as part of analyses of the global spyware market.

This company is also listed on Surveillance Watch.
