DataForense was an Italian information technology company.
Founded in 2013, in 2024 it went bankrupt and was liquidated and sold.[1]
In 2019/2020 they started working on the “Spyrtacus Project”.[2]
Some of its ex-members later founded ASIGINT and brought the Spyrtacus project along with them to the new company.
DataForense has been included in the Atlantic Council’s “Mythical Beasts” report mapping the global spyware market, as one of six Italian spyware vendors.[3]
